Born Thai. Living Western. Building the brand that speaks both

Meet The Founder

Hi there!
I'm Namfon :)

The bridge between two worlds.

I've always been drawn to beautiful things. Growing up across Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, and Bangkok, I wanted to be an interior designer, obsessed with why some spaces made you feel something the moment you walked in, why certain colors felt safe, why some things just looked right. I ended up studying Language and Culture at Chulalongkorn instead, which opened my world in a different way. And that early obsession with beauty? It never left. It just followed me quietly into everything else I did.

After university I spent almost ten years working with international clients across consulting and business and without realizing it, I was learning something most Thai designers never get the chance to build: a real understanding of how Western clients think, what they trust, and what makes them say yes. The whole time, I kept designing on the side. Websites, brand identities, visual worlds just because I couldn't help it. People would ask "how did you do that?" and I'd shrug. It took me thirty years to understand that what feels effortless to you isn't always ordinary.

Now I'm in Amsterdam, raising two little ones and running RAAK and this is the most aligned I've ever felt. Somewhere between the school runs and the late nights, it became clear: I already had everything I needed. Thirty years of loving beauty, a decade of understanding the West from the inside, and a Thai soul that knows exactly what makes our culture extraordinary. RAAK is my way of using all of it on purpose to change how Thailand is seen in the world. Not as the cheap option. Not as the exotic option. As the premium, beautiful, worth-every-baht option. 🌿

Our Process

STEP ONE:

We start with a real conversation

We book 30 minutes on LINE or WhatsApp, no agenda, no pitch. Just an honest chat about your business, where you're at, and what you're hoping for. You can talk in Thai or English, whichever feels more natural. I'll listen properly and tell you what I actually think.

STEP TWO:

We dig into what makes your roots yours

This is my favourite part. We go deep into your cultural story, your region, your heritage, the specific thing that makes your business yours and not anyone else's. Then I translate all of that into a brand that Western clients immediately recognize as premium. Not generic Thai. Not tourist Thai. The real thing, done properly.

STEP THREE:

You stop competing and start attracting

Once your brand carries the weight of who you actually are, something shifts. The right clients find you. They trust you before you've said a word. They stop asking for discounts and start sending their friends. That's not magic, that's just what happens when your brand finally tells the truth about your value.

"I spent thirty years becoming the bridge between two worlds. RAAK is what happens when you finally decide to use it."

— Rain, Founder of RAAK Studio
